Look out for the next email arriving for the start of the course on 7 October.

3. Learn how to get the most out of the MOOC

 

This video provides a great description of the five steps that will help you to have success in a MOOC. It considers a number of things you can do to make your experience of this MOOC more beneficial and interactive, and get more out of your participation.

 

4. Sign up for a Plus account

 

The course will be available on our online learning platform at Physiopedia Plus. The course can be accessed with either a FREE Trial Account or a Full/Pro member account. If you already have an account you do not need to do anything, if you do not have an account you can sign up for the FREE Trial Account here.

 

You can also access the course using the Plus app on phones and tablets, so that you can download the course to complete offline. The Plus app is available through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Anyone can download the app. You need to have Full or Pro Plus membership to access the MOOC courses via an app.

5. Look out for the FREE MOOC webinars – Registration coming soon!

 

There will be two live MOOC Webinars in weeks 5 and 6 of the course that will be FREE for all, attendance is optional but please register in advance if you wish to join – details of how to register will be sent out by email soon.

 

- AI for Personal Productivity with a Practical Guide to Integrating AI into your Workflow – Tuesday 5 November at 9 am EST (2 pm UK time) 

 

- AI in Health Systems for Understanding the Implications for Professional Practice – Tuesday 12 November at 12 pm (noon) EST (5 pm UK time)

 

Please note that due to a limit on the Zoom attendance capacity, the live webinar will permit attendees to join on a first-come and first-served basis.

 

6. Agree to the Plus Community Culture

 

The Plus community culture has been developed to foster a professional community of learning among course participants. It is our shared set of beliefs, expectations and values that influence our individual learning and the ways in which the individuals in our community interact with one another and collaborate to achieve common objectives. Discussions for each course will take place in our Plus Forum. Participating in the discussion forum is highly recommended as you’ll have the chance to try out your new skills in AI prompt writing and share your experience with others. Please contribute responsibly and professionally and adhere to our discussion forum rules:

 

Remember patient confidentiality! Do not disclose any information that enables us to identify your patients.
- Be respectful and empathetic to those where English is not their first language.

- Remain professional at all times.

 

Everyone participating in this course will have different levels of experience using AI, and each and every experience is a learning opportunity. We can all learn from each other! With that in mind, before the start of the MOOC please introduce yourself in the forum, including the following information about you:

 

- where you work or study

- your experience using AI

- why you have decided to take this course
- one thing you are hoping to gain from this course

Working in a group? Read this

 

Some people find it useful to work through the course as a group. This is particularly useful where:

 

- you wish to discuss the course content with colleagues in relation to your specific work context

- you wish to supplement the course content with additional activities
- your first language is not English
- you have poor internet and someone else has downloaded the course content for you to work through together
