This course aims to provide an overview of working with diverse displaced person populations

- What was left behind
- Working with displaced children and young people
- Working with displaced olderpersons
- Working with displaced LGBTQIA+ persons

 

Hours of Learning

Around 4–5 hours learning on your own schedule

 

Learning outcomes
- Describe the impact of forced migration on children and adolescents, older persons, 
and members of the LGBTQIA+ community
- Discuss strategies to minimise barriers to culturally competent care for LGBTQIA+ displaced persons

No matter where you are up to with this year's MOOC, you can continue to work through the course content at your own pace for free until 30 October. After this date only Plus members will be able to complete the full programme and refer back to any of the resources at any time in the future (people in low and low-middle income countries can get free Plus membership).
