Are you ready for the FREE Understanding Basic Rehabilitation Techniques Course? Starts in 2 weeks on Monday 4 September 2023

 

You are receiving this email as you have registered for the free online course on Understanding Basic Rehabilitation Techniques – add us to your email address book to make sure you don't miss any course details. This is the first pre-course email and contains the information you need to get started on the course in 2-week's time. Look out for the next email with your pre-course activities coming on 28 August 2023. We can't wait to learn with you on this Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

 

This is how it's all going to work:

 

1. Next week on Monday 28 August we will send you all the links you need to start the courses on Monday 4 September. The courses will be available in English.

2. The courses will be available to all users through our online learning platform – Physiopedia Plus (Plus).

3. Case studies and discussion forums will be available through our free Rehabilitation Community platform – details for joining will be included in next week's email.

4. The full MOOC course title is “Understanding Basic Rehabilitation Techniques”.

5. This programme is divided into 8 courses, each being between 1 and 2 hours in length.

6. The complete programme of courses will be released on Monday 4 September 2023.

7. You will get a certificate for each course completed.

8. Once you have completed all 8 courses, there will be an opportunity to submit an assignment to complete the full programme and receive the full programme certificate. If you have a Trial account you will be able to submit your assignment up to 14 October. After this date you will need a Full Plus members account to submit your assignment.

9. The courses will be available to complete for free for 4 weeks until 1 October 2023 for all Plus Trial members. After this date Full Plus members will still be able to complete the full programme and refer back to any of the resources at any time in the future. People in low and low-middle income countries can continue to get free access to Plus, apply here.

This is going to be a course not to miss!  Not only will you gain knowledge about fundamental rehabilitation techniques, you'll also be learning from colleagues all over the world and sharing knowledge from the many different working contexts that will be represented.
