Course 4: Competent Delivery of Rehabilitation Interventions

 

It is time to complete the fourth and final course in this year's Physiopedia MOOC 2021. This week we will be looking at delivery of rehabilitation interventions - we hope you will join us!

 

At the end of this course you will receive a link to complete a post-course competency quiz - please take the time to do this as it will help you to reflect on your learning knowledge and enable us to assess the reach and success of this programme.

 

This course has been developed as part of the ReLAB-HS USAID funded project. As part of this project we need to report data related to use of the course back to the funder. We therefore need to collect some extra detail from you now you have completed the course. This data will be shared with USAID and the ReLAB-HS consortium for the purposes of assessing the reach and success of the project and will not be shared with anyone else for any other purposes.

Aim

To ensure comprehensive knowledge and understanding of competency frameworks and a wide range of therapeutic interventions available to the rehabilitation team throughout the different stages of rehabilitation service delivery.

Learning outcomes
- describe the different ways rehabilitation frameworks are used and the design features associated with different framework applications
- justify the use of different therapeutic interventions depending on the treatment goal for a patient
- choose an appropriate set of interventions that could be included in a rehabilitation management plan of a patient
